We are currently looking for a talented and motivated Trainee Document Controller to join our Project and Bid team. This role could be based in either Ipswich or Maidenhead.

**What does the role involve?**

Supporting our successful Buildings division you will provide timely, efficient and professional document control between Sweco and our clients, through web based portals and / or electronic document management software.

Key deliverables will include:

- Uploading and downloading of project drawings and documents.
- Maintaining data registers, document control filing, producing reports to engineers and carrying out / copying / archiving / scanning / printing / creating PDF's / recording and filing of incoming and outgoing copies of drawings.
- Identifying inconsistencies for quality control purposes.
- Archiving documents and numbering appropriately to ensure traceability.
- Quality checking of documents to ensure they meet the client and company standards.

**To be successful in this role you’ll possess**:
You'll be skilled in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience of web base portals would be advantageous but full training can be provided, what's more important is excellent communication skills and attention to detail. You may have experience in a similar role, be looking for a change or may looking for your first role after education. We are also happy to look at Apprenticeship opportunities if this is something that you are interested in.
