**Accounts & Audit Trainee - No Experience Necessary | Full Study Support | Fantastic Progression**

A leading independent firm with a fantastic reputation in Berkshire, are seeking an Accounts & Audit Trainee to join their growing team. This is a very exciting role to build a career within an Accountancy Practice, offering fantastic support and progressionopportunities.

Once up to speed, and will full training and support, you would be responsible for year-end accounts preparation and corporation tax work, as well as assistance with annual audit assignments and ad hoc administrative duties.

**Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Prepare annual accounts and company tax returns in accordance with the Firm's policies and procedures.
- Ensure jobs are progressed timely and efficiently. Ensure the client control schedule has been updated accurately at all stages of the assignment, from the receipt of client records through to job completion.
- Attend client premises for each audit assignment, and undertake field work stage as necessary.
- Document and test audit clients systems and controls notes as instructed by senior colleagues.
- Manage time appropriately and work to set budgets.
- Where audit clients are located at non-commutable distances from the office, overnight accommodation can be arranged as necessary. Such occasions are not regular
- Self-development - Develop relevant knowledge and skills through following the study programme. Maintain and uphold the professional ethical standards set out in the staff handbook and the law and regulations purporting to money laundering and terroristfinancing.

**Training & Career Opportunities**

After successful completion of the 6 month probationary period, a training contract with the ICAEW or ACCA will be offered. Full study support, including provision of training courses, paid leave to attend course, exam entry and study materials will be providedfor a 1st attempt at each sitting of the professional exams.

Full, on the job training will be given. Previous experience is not necessary. With experience and exam progression, advancement to Semi-senior, Senior and Manager are available.
