SEND Learning Support Assistant - Doncaster
The School caters for children and young people aged 3-19 with Special Educational Needs, predominantly Severe Learning Disabilities and Autism.
We are looking to appoint Learning Support Assistants with Key Stage 1/2 experience who have a real passion to support the academic learning and personal development of the children and young people. This position will particularly appeal to individuals who have a wide range of skills and talents to offer, such as a background in enrichment and wider extra-curricular activities, as we feel these attributes will complement the role well. We are looking for Learning Support Assistants who have an innovative, energetic and resilient approach to their work.
**Requirements**:
To be considered for the learning support position, you will:
- Have experience of supporting children with special educational needs
- Have the skills to place student's learning at the centre of your work
- Have excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Have Team Teach/Advanced Team teach or willing to undertake training
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to obtain one)
- 2 x references (including your last employer)
