Academics are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants for temporary, ongoing positions supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in a range of warm and welcoming school settings.

Position: Level 2 Teaching Assistant
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Contract: Temporary, flexible ongoing positions
Pay: £88.94 - £95 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella company fees)
Start Date: ASAP or from a start date that suits you

About the Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning, promote positive behaviour and help pupils access the curriculum.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for those looking for variety in their working week, with the flexibility to choose the days and schools that work best for your lifestyle.

You will support pupils in small groups, 1:1 where needed, and contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment across Doncaster schools.

Key Responsibilities

Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2
* Provide small group and 1:1 support when required
* Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom activities
* Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil participation
* Support pupils with additional needs where appropriate
* Help maintain a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff

Candidate Requirements

✔ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential)
✔ Previous experience working in a primary school setting
✔ A positive, patient and proactive approach
✔ Confident supporting pupils of varying abilities
✔ Strong communication and teamwork skills
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
