Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in various healthcare settings. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
**Duties**:
- Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
- Follow care plans and ensure individualized care for each patient
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
**Skills**:To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow them accurately
- Experience in home care or care home settings is preferred
- Proficient in English language (verbal and written)
- Valid driver's license for transportation purposes (if required)
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
