**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
This an exciting opportunity for caring, compassionate and talented Support Workers, to work within a well-established service, supporting 16 people. This service will be supporting people with learning disabilities, Autism and emotional health and wellbeing, whilst also promoting their choices, wellbeing and independence.

King Street is a three storey building, with fourteen individual apartments and communal spaces We also have two bungalows, one just across the road and one a five minute walk away. There is also a large communal garden at the back of the building.

All of the people we support here, have personalised their own living spaces and some even have their own pets, including dogs, cats and a rabbit. They all enjoy spending time with their friends and family, some enjoy sports, some enjoy arts and crafts and many have even volunteered with different programmes too.

There are a wide variety of shifts that our colleagues work to support us. They include 8am-8pm, 8am-10pm, 12pm-10pm, 11am-5pm, 9pm-7am, 4pm-8pm, 10am-3pm, 10pm-8am. Some of these shifts are flexible and times can change depending on what we are doing that day and what we have planned out in the community.

We need our support workers to be understanding and empathetic, we need them to be flexible, motivated and positive to work with us. Specialist training is provided around Autism, Positive Behaviour Support, Mental Health Awareness, Medication, MAPA and Moving and Positioning.
