**Position Summary**

Due to continued growth and development, WRC is recruiting for a **semi-skilled HGV** **Mechanic** to join our growing team in support of our ongoing expansion. This is the perfect position for an individual with some HGV or agricultural experience looking for their next career change.

Working with our team of fully qualified Mechanics, you will grow your knowledge and gain vast experience in heavy goods maintenance.

**Duties**
- Assisting the maintenance and repair of WRC’s current fleet of vehicles and plant to ensure they are compliant with current health and safety regulations as well as DVLA standards.
- Replacing wheels and tyres
- Maintaining equipment and tools
- Carrying out day-to-day repairs such as basic welding and servicing
- Playing a vital role in maintaining the operation of cutting-edge recycling machinery
- Regular fault diagnosis and rectification.

**Requirements of the role**
- Must be semi-skilled
- Forklift/ plant experience is desirable but not essential
- Interest of working with a wide range of recycling plant and machinery
