The Finance and Accountancy Division at The One Group is working with a World's market leading manufacturing / retail business based in Bedfordshire to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner. This Assistant Finance Business Partner role is an excitingopportunity for someone who is keen to work for a prestige organisation who put their people and employees at the heart of everything they do.

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you will provide financial insight to ensure that Finance is considered before decisions are made that effect financial results.

Your duties as Assistant Finance Business Partner will include, but not limited to:

- Ownership of budget and forecast models, ensuring information is accurate with the business's 18 month rolling financial forecast
- Develop a strong understanding of business areas including key cost drivers and identifying opportunities to improve performance
- Month end reporting with commentary and analysis
- Month end analysis for functional cost owners to ensure cost is controlled based on commercial information
- Working closely with FP&A Lead to reporting packs to drive divisional improvements
- Assistant Management Accounts Team in producing management reporting
- Present data to internal and external stakeholders
- Other commercial accounting duties required by the senior management team

Skills and attributes you must be able to demonstrate:

- Minimum PQ ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Driven and motivated to drive the business forward
- Comfortable in working for a busy finance division
- Great communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent analytical skills and a proactive approach to meet internal and external demands
- Attention to detail and ability to challenge information
- Superb attention to detail skills
- Must be able to work to strict deadlines
- Excel advanced skills - including VLookups, Pivot Tables, Formulas
