**Support Worker**

**Salary**:£11.00 per hour**
Location: Andover, Hampshire
**Hours per week: Full time/Part time, Days/Nights, Permanent/Bank**

**About the role**
We are looking for an experienced Support workers with a background in working with people who have a learning disability, autism or experience in supporting people with behaviours that challenge.
Ed* is a young, energetic male who is looking for a team member who enjoys the same things as him. Ed enjoys going for long walks and will walk for miles. He enjoys being active and going for bike rides when he isn't walking.
On his less active days, Ed likes having stories read to him, being on his tablet watching Thomas the Tank Engine on YouTube, completing jigsaw puzzles or drawing/colouring.
He is looking for a male team members who is calm and can support with life skills and decision making, someone who is consistent and offers reassurance when needed. Experience in PECs and visual planners would be desirable.

**About PBS4**
We are a not for profit and social enterprise support provider for adults and young adults who have learning disabilities and/or autism. We support people to live in their own homes, with their own tenancies and our model of support is a practice called Positive Behaviour Support. Our CEO Jonathan Beebee is a registered Learning Disabilities Nurse and qualified Behaviour Analyst. We are a medium-sized organisation supporting 35 people across Hampshire, Dorset, Berkshire and Oxfordshire and with a workforce of just over 200.
As an Enablement Assistant you will have the support of a team of people dedicated to supporting that person. You will also be able to access support from the Deputy Enablement Manager, the Enablement Manager, and the Positive Behaviour Support Clinician who provide you and the team with management and leadership. Your shift pattern may consist of day shifts, waking nights and sleeps.
