This specific role is supporting a **male** with **Cerebral Palsy, ADHD and Epilepsy** in **Monxton, Andover**.

The client lives in an annexe attached to his parents house and attends Hydrotherapy once a week which they are hoping to increase over time.

He enjoys going to the pub to play darts and pool, watching Chelsea play football or heading out for the day on the train to explore his local area.

The client communicates using Makaton and can sometimes get frustrated when he is unable to communicate his needs to his team.

The current team would be able to support the learning of Makaton alongside the client.

**Hours Available**:
Waking nights available from 2000-0830. Full time and part time hours.

**Responsibilities will include**:

- Maintaining a safe and clean environment
- Promoting independence
- Supporting with activities and planning day trips
- Community Access
- General household tasks

**Requirements for the position**:

- A full clean driving licence is required
- A minimum of 6 months health and social care experience is required for this role preferably with specific knowledge and familiarity of brain injuries, however transferable skills and personal experience will be considered.
- Experience with Cerebral Palsy or epilepsy preferred
