Maintenance Supervisor

A global business supplying a range of parts and components across numerous industries is seeking to employ a Maintenance Supervisor to take responsibility for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, associated infrastructure and manufacturing facilities in order to ensure a safe, timely and efficient operation.
**_ 45,000 - 53,000 Bonus, Working days Monday - Friday_**
**Reporting into the Engineering Manager, your duties as Development Engineer will include -**
- Planning and resourcing of staff, materials, and the technical support of day-to-day activities to meet the manufacturing demand.
- Regular reporting of status on all engineering activities such as machine breakdowns, non-breakdowns, preventative maintenance, projects, etc. Analyse regular failures and provide long term solutions.
- Liaising with production staff to agree on priorities and expectations and allocate resources accordingly.
- Implementing preventative processes to move away from reactive maintenance.
- Carrying out day-to-day hands-on activities to reduce plant downtime.
- Be an experienced Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician with supervisory experience.
- Have experience in mechanical / electrical maintenance in a manufacturing / engineering environment, with an Apprenticeship / industry recognised qualifications.
- Possess the ability to handle day-to-day and strategic issues, based around operational requirements and the management of a manufacturing facility.
- Have excellent knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes.
