Butler Rose is delighted to be working with a Southwest based charity that due to growth, are now looking for a Purchasing Manager to join the organisation. The role is wide ranging in scope and will see the chosen individual tasked with the delivery ofa first class procurement service to aid the charities onward development, and to ultimately contribute to the betterment of lives.

**The role**

This position will require the chosen individual to build on the already established work that has been carried out to date, by setting out further strategy across the organisation. Duties are wide ranging and include the following:

- Drive procurement decisions that are that lead to commercial advantage for the organisation
- Set procurement strategy and policy for the organisation that achieves high ethical and sustainable purchasing
- Mentor and up-skill the purchasing team to provide a well-rounded service to the organisation
- Delivery the Charities ambitious target to achieve Net Zero carbon emissions

**About you**

To be chosen for the role you must possess experience procuring a range of goods and services which are primarily indirect. Having team management experience would also be a strong advantage
