We are a rapidly expanding roofing merchant with 3 branches across Hertfordshire and Cambridgeshire. We are looking for Yard/Warehouse Operative to support our business at our Fulbourn yard. This role will offer an excellent opportunity to join a company that is committed to growth, staff development and customer service. The position will mainly be delivery driving, with yard duties as required to allow for variety and progression within the company.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Picking customer orders for delivery and collection predominantly using a forklift
- Yard house keeping
- Daily checks on the forklift
- Loading and unloading suppliers deliveries predominantly using a forklift
- Handling customer returns
- Following health and safety
- This is a broad outline of the main responsibilities. The job holder will be required to be flexible in the role, responsibilities and duties may change as the job roles requires.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- You should ideally have at least 1 year of counter balance forklift experience in a work environment
- You must physically fit, due to the manual handling required.
- Your numeracy & English literacy skills should be strong.
- A good level of customer service is essential as you will be at the forefront of the business.

**Working Hours**:Monday to Friday 7am - 4.30pm

**Job Type**:Full time

**Annual Leave**: 20 days per year pro rata from starting date plus all UK Bank Holidays and Christmas Shutdown

Pay: £26,700.00 per year
