**The Oxford Fine Food Store** is an independent premium fresh food retailer based in Oxfordshire, currently operating from one store in North Oxford. The management team has over 30 years management experience. We are currently looking for suitable like-minded positive team members who are passionate about good food and great customer service who can help to develop The Oxford Fine Food Store concept.

We offer a unique shopping experience which focuses on providing excellent customer service and a unparalleled range of fine food from Oxfordshire and further afield.

**What we are looking for**:
As a Sandwich & Deli Counter Assistantyou will work on our counter based in our new store in North Oxford, this is a guest facing role. Responsible for preparation, presentation and serving of our gourmet sandwich and salad range and offering help, assistance and guidance to our customers on our delicatessen and bakery counters.

You will attend to both the needs of our customers and online orders from our online web store.

The Sandwich & Deli Counter Assistant will manage and control stock rotation, cleaning down, and packaging our full range from our fresh food, delicatessen and bakery counters. As one of our team members, you will be required to serve customers, prepare fresh ingredients and produce sandwiches, baguettes and other food products in line with our standards and assist with the day to day running of the store.

**As a Sandwich & Coffee Counter Assistant with The Oxford Fine Food Store, you will**:

- Prepare and package our “From Our Kitchen” food to you range.
- Have experienced in working with a team.
- Organize stock & order, wastage and ensure the store is a well utilised and efficient workspace.
- Be experienced as a till operator and can follow security procedures.
- You will monitor Health & Safety and maintain food safety standards in our store.
- Be an ambassador for our brand, store and company and maintain a high personal presentation to exceed our customers’ expectations.
- Drive high standards of cleanliness and safety in the environment.
- Contribute to and maintain a culture of high-performance.
- Have a minimum of 1 year’s customer service experience ideally with a open plan counter.
