Trade Counter Assistant

The Best Connection are looking for a **Trade Counter Sales Assistant** to join our growing family run business in **Oxford.**

**Pay rate**:

- ** £23,000 - £27,000**

**Shift times**:

- 07.00 - 16.30 Monday - Friday
- 08.00 - 12.00 Saturdays (2 on, 1 off)

**You responsibilities as a trade counter assistant;**
- Assisting customers with enquiries
- Pro-active sales calls
- Managing and ordering stock
- Planning the delivery schedule
- Assisting with stock taking
- Co-Ordinating Internal Branch transfers
- Daily Stock Checks
- Picking orders for customers when warehouse staff are busy

**Qualifications and requirements**:

- ** Sales & Customer service experience**, preferably with merchant or DIY sales background, although this is desirable it is **NOT **essential
- Dynamic & Self motivated
- Work well within a team environment, customer oriented, proactive, enthusiastic & energetic

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
- Canteen
- Ongoing Assignment
- Possible permanent position following a successful trial period
