Our client based in Seaford is seeking a temporary Receptionist/Host to cover their front of house for the dates below:

- 16th May - 18th May
- 27th June - 5 July

**You will need to have a full DBS in place before starting in this booking, which our client will arrange.**

The hours are 9am - 4.30pm

Our client is a professional builder of high-end retirement homes. Working on site you will be ensuring the smooth running of the facilities and building strong relationships with clients and customers.

You will be the key interface between the apartment owners and our client. You will help everyone settle into their new homes and be the first person that everyone turns to for everything from changing a light bulb, devising and organising social events,and liaising with contractors coming into the facility. As you'll be the building's host, you'll focus on fostering a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

**Your role**:

- Providing a proactive customer focused service identifying and providing owners with information on the local area including key services, events and places of interest
- Representing the business in the front of house/guest area
- General maintenance of building and front of house
- Keeping reception and guest areas in excellent clean condition
- Security checks and walk arounds to check external areas, light bulbs, H&S issues and hazards, and checking windows and doors.
- Keeping entrances clean and clear
- Sweeping and emptying bins.
- Dealing with post, parcels and deliveries.
- Watering plants
- Maintaining the events and visitor's suite diaries.
- Taking the lead on managing Health and Safety at the development

**The person**:

- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English, or with hospitality vocational qualifications
- **Strong experience in face to face customer service/reception or facilities is highly desirable.**:

- Experience of working within a customer facing role
- Happy to work independently
- Knowledge and a responsible attitude to Health and Safety
