Supporting well over one million active customer visits on an annual basis, Wave ensures all surplus revenues generated from activities are reinvested back into the community in the form of facility developments and refurbishments, new programmes of activity or outreach initiatives.

As we emerge from the intense phase of the pandemic our ‘Build Back Better’ Strategy focuses on three key activity areas:

- The structure of the business focusing on core activities.

- To ensure recovery, greater resilience and future sustainability.

**3. Community Health**
- In isolation or in partnership with public health partners to deliver positive health interventions.

**The Post in Context**

Wave Leisure will be launching its brand new and exciting Multi Activity sessions at Downs Leisure Centre.

We are looking for a vibrant and outgoing individual to supervise the public sessions and be the main point of contact for private hirers birthday parties.

You will ensure that all users do so in a safe manner and adhere to the rules and guidelines.

As Party Host you will greet the birthday boy/girl and associated parents/guardian and direct them to the Multi Activity Centre and area for food.

You will be the point of contact at all times and will respond to all enquiries regarding the party to ensure a fun and professional service is delivered.

**Job Purpose**

The number one priority for the Junior Activity Assistant/Party Host is the safety and enjoyment of our customers at all times, and this is where you come in.

**Summary of Main Duties**:
1. Ensure all Multi Activity Centre customers are having the best experience.

2. Ensure all customers are jumping safely and courteously at all times

3. To ensure all participant are adhering to the safety rules

4. To assist with all customer enquiries, making yourself approachable and presentable.

5. Hosting parties by meeting and greeting and directing to activities

6. The Party Host will engage with all participants and deliver structured party games & activities at the customer’s request.

7. Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are achieved

8. Welcoming customers - creating a fun and relaxed environment

9. Keeping all areas safe and clean

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 01-15 per week

**Salary**: Up to £10.42 per hour
