Your new company
East Hampshire District Council are looking to appoint a new Project Manager to join their organisation for a 2-year fixed term contract. This is a key role to help the successful transition of their digital and transformational projects. EHDC has really embracedflexible working by making this role remote.

Your new role
You will oversee the current transformation (organisational/digital) and digital projects. You will be working within a close-knit team who is dedicated to help improve the lives of the people living within the local community as well as the opportunity todevelop your skills.
You will be running workshops to communicate with the other members within your team but this will offer you the opportunity to teach the more junior members and help develop their skillset.. This will offer you the chance to effectively communicate with yourteam and to successfully implement change to the projects you will be working on.
You will be working with the Business Solutions Unit to ensure that no projects are duplicated and that you can allow a smooth transition of your project as well as working closely with the Project sponsors and external/internal stakeholders. This will meanthat you will have to build key relationships with members of the organisation and adapt the ideas from multiple departments/individuals.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have excellent communication and the ability to lead a team. Experience as a project manager is essential but any equivalent qualifications would be advantageous.
You must have experience within a public sector organisation. This will allow you to have a smooth transition into EHDC and have a good understanding of how local Government organisation operate.
