We are working alongside a blue-chip gallery located in London who is seeking for a Collections Registrar to join their team.
This individual will be responsible for creating consignment agreements for the gallery by their artists and the continued management of the artwork throughout the consignment process. You will be working within the Shipping department and will be based inLondon however will service agreements across all gallery locations.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create and coordinate all consignment agreements for artwork that is consigned to the gallery throughout the UK, USA, and China
- Oversee the administration related to all consignment agreements which includes liaising with the gallery’s artist management team, ensuring that all agreements are signed and filed accordingly
- Ensure all details on the database are updated regularly
- Conduct yearly reviews for all consigned artwork and produce annual reports
- Using the gallery database system, ensure that all details for artwork are accurate and up to date
- When required provide cover for the Head of Contracts
- Working alongside the Head of Global Registration on annual storage audits when needed
- Consider and decide what the best use of customs statuses/storage locations for the artwork is long-term

**Skills**:

- Strong knowledge and understanding of database management systems
- Have previous experience in registration practice
- Previous experience in working with galleries or museum collections
- Experience in creating and amending agreements
- Show excellent attention to detail and work in an organized manner
- Ability to work in a team across various locations
- Strong technical understanding using Apple Mac, Microsoft Word/Excel
- Knowledge and understanding of the contemporary art market
- Good knowledge and understanding of import regulations
- Provide cover when required
