Android Software Engineer

Remote - London/Manchester based office

Forward Role have partnered with a global technology innovation business who work across many industries, supporting them to transform business ideas into sustainable solutions. They are currently looking for an Android Software Engineer to join their team.This is an incredible opportunity to join a successful global business who prioritise the personal and professional development of their employees.

The role:
You will work within a cross-functional project team to support your clients by understanding their requirements and in return delivering high quality performant apps suited to them. These projects will be varied and cover many industries working with arange of clients, so you will have the ability to clearly communicate technical requirements across the team and to clients. You will have experience in Android using Kotlin, Android design patterns and previous experience with app logic/UI. You will haveproven experience in a client facing role and have a passion for creating impactful mobile solutions.

What we need from you:

- Proven experience in Android with Kotlin and Android design patterns
- Experience designing entire feature with app logic, UI, networking and storage
- Experience working with UX/UI designers to implement accessible interfaces
- Solution orientated and delivery focussed
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
