The Android Google App (AGA) team is at the forefront of Search on Android. Our team's work spans across the entire user journey, from ensuring seamless access to Search, to fostering in-app growth and building the best, AI-infused app experience. As an engineer on the AGA team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide variety of challenges, such as building new features, migrating our app to modern toolkits like Jetpack Compose, or running experiments to drive user growth.
Android is Google’s mobile operating system powering more than 3 billion devices worldwide. Android is about bringing computing to everyone in the world. Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Plan and execute prioritized project work in a self-directed fashion, managing your own task priorities and requesting help.
