Autism Anglia is a well-established charity celebrating 50 years. We have opportunities available for an Administrator on a part-time basis of 3 days per week. Working from our Norfolk Campus in Whitstone and Walnut Houses in Dereham The successful Administrator will provide professional and efficient administration support service to the operational managers within all areas of Adult Services undertaking administration duties as required.

Autism Anglia is dedicated to providing ongoing training and supervision, continuing professional development and support as well as an extensive induction on commencement of employment.
- **Location**:Dereham, Norfolk, Whitstone and Walnut Houses
- **Hours**: Full Time 37 hours per week

**Whitstone House and Walnut House**

Whitstone House and Walnut House accommodate individuals within the autistic spectrum as part of Autism Anglia’s Adult services. Enabling all individuals to participate in various physical activities such as walking, swimming, shopping, and general socialising in the wider community.

Support workers at Whitstone House and Walnut House recognise each individual’s aspirations. Senior Support Workers and the team, work towards enabling individuals to achieve their own life plans by developing life skills through a person-centred, strengths-based planning. This will include being actively involved in empowering them to make individual choices about their everyday living.

**The role**:

- Ensure all services and people we support documentation is updated as directed and filed effectively in accordance with Autism Anglia’s requirements and data protection policies are followed.
- Liaising with operational managers directly to effectively plan the required administration tasks.
- Assisting with the setting up of care plan folders for people we support, including typing of support plans, and whole life risk assessments as requested.
- Preparation and binding of daily records and all forms
- Updating and amending people we support care plan folders and any related documentation as required.
- Filing and ensuring regular back-ups of people we support related documentation.
- Assist with the adult services quality assurance family members questionnaires.
- Booking holidays for people we support as directed and keeping records as required.
- Minute taking at meetings and when required.
- Oversee all internal and external mail systems and related duties.

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Maths and English GCSE (or equivalent) grade A-C is essential
- Strong IT Skills, proficient with the use of Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Excellent organisational skills
- Able to maintain accurate records.
- Experience of maintaining effective filing systems both paper-based and online
- Experience and knowledge of data protection requirements
- Previous experience and knowledge of working in a care setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to prioritise own workload.
