We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic **Retail Assistant **to join our team at Lincoln Security.

Established in 1974, Lincoln Security are one of the UK’s largest independent family-owned locksmiths providing supply and installation of security solutions to domestic and commercial customers and also through our Trade Counter offer day to day sales for local businesses, schools, colleges, Universities, builders, landlords and many more.

You will be trained in the day-to-day workings of our customer centre at Whisby Way Lincoln which will include:

- Key cutting and lock repairs
- Service, repair and re-assemble existing locks
- Selling stock from the shop floor
- Driving additional sales to existing customers
- Encouraging new business by developing existing customer rapport, making them aware of other services within the business
- Achieving department targets
- Reporting to Customer Centre Manager

**Essential Requirements**
- Highly organised, great personality, good sense of humour and flexible
- Confidence, initiative, responsible, polite
- Use of small hand tools and good dexterity
- Happy to be customer facing
- Decision making abilities
- Able to work in a pressured environment and have a willingness to help others and teamwork
- Able to oversee multiple tasks within varying timescales
- Numerate, literate and excellent IT ability
- Willingness to attend site specific training and develop relevant knowledge and skills

**Desirable Requirements**

This retail-based position will require excellent communications skills within your team and with customers.
- Use of small hand tools
- Some experience of customer service would be desirable
