We are excited to be recruiting for an award-winning Legal client who are looking for an experienced Credit Controller on a full time, permanent basis.

Our client is one of Scotland’s leading comprehensive Law Firms with offices throughout the UK.

Edinburgh City Centre

**Salary**

Dependant on Experience

**Role Purpose**

You will be working within the Finance Department, carrying out credit control for the firm.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Process credit card payments via online portal
- Monitor monthly payment plans to ensure funds are received on due date
- Monitor and maintain credit control mailbox daily
- Assist the Head of Credit Control with monthly review meetings
- Establishing rapport with clients’ finance teams to drive efficient and timely cash collection
- Chase overdue debtor balances in line with credit control procedures and workflows
- Ensure the highest standards of quality, accuracy for input into systems
- Manage a portfolio of accounts ensuring effective and timely collections

**Key Skills**
- Experienced credit controller within the legal sector is desirable, although not essential
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required, with the ability to produce pivot tables, vlookups & other formulas
- Ability to work within a demanding environment
- Ability to building strong relations with both colleagues and clients
- Strong attention to detail
- Adapts well to change

This is a full-time, permanent role based in Edinburgh, working between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.
