Associate Director of Strategy

An NHS client of mine is looking for an Associate Director of Strategy to join them, on an initial 3 month contract.

This is a hybrid role, accross 2 sites in South London - as well as remote working. The role is paying a day rate of £460, INSIDE IR35.

Key responsibilities:
Be responsible for developing, leading and managing defined components of Trust strategies and plans, ensuring meaningful and timely engagement on strategic issues with partners, patients and residents.

Work with divisions to develop service specific plans for key aspects of the Trust strategy, supported by appropriate financial and activity modelling, and with clinical leadership and support.

Provide expert technical knowledge in strategy development and communicate complex, and sometimes contentious, service or strategic developments to a wide range of multi-disciplinary staff across the Trust.

Forward scan the policy and strategic environment, assessing the potential impact and implications of changes in the external environment for the Trust.

Review and produce briefings on key national and local developments and coordinate and produce responses on behalf of the Trust to relevant consultation exercises.
