**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Patient Care Assistant to join our team here The Village Group**

This is a permanent full time role with 1:4 Saturdays. You will mainly be working at our Caterham site, however some branch work may be required.

Due to career progression and some new home moves for our existing team we are now looking to find our next super star to join our hard working but fun loving team where our clients and their pets are at the heartbeat of everything we do. A passion for animals, client care and a fabulous personality is the most important thing to us because you will be the face of The Village Group where our clients become family and their pets are VIPs. We are looking for someone warm and open who can stay calm and professional in challenging situations, someone who naturally goes the extra mile and someone who doesn't mind getting stuck in with any task.

If your idea of happiness is being covered in pet hair by the end of the day, from making a fuss of all our clients petswe would love to hear from you. This is a hands on role especially at branch practices so you will need to be confident in handling animals. We are a sociable team who laugh together, socialise together, bake for each other (we love cake), look after each other, do sponsored activities together and more so we are looking for someone to join our amazing team and not just fill a role. This role will involve animal handling, assisting vets and nurses in restraining animals for treatment, cleaning, walking and feeding patients, general cleaning and maintenance duties, answering phone calls, reception cover, greeting clients and providing the highest standards of animal and customer care.

The salary for this position will be in line with National Minimum Wage +3% cost of living increase.
