**Monday to Friday (Working Monday to Thursday 6AM-4PM & Friday 6AM-2PM)**

Mason James Appointments is partnered with a manufacturing business with locations across the UK, currently have a requirement for a Hygiene Team Lead to join their West Norfolk location on a full time permanent basis.

Residing within the food manufacturing sector, our client has been established for over 50 years and is a leading supplier within its sector.

The Hygiene supervisor is responsible for leading the production team in the efficient operation of all aspects of the production system, ensuring all relevant Health & Safety and quality control procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage site hygiene standards with a continual improvement attitude to exceed Auditory requirements
- Manage resources to ensure cleaning schedule is maintained
- Own site hygiene culture including cleaning schedule of the site and furlong sites adapting and amending where necessary and communicating proactively where needed.
- Be responsible for closing any UFAS/Audit actions that may result from any internal or external audit processes
- Lead, create, review, and implement Health and Safety policies and procedures ensuring compliance with legislation and aligned to best practice.
- Ensure training compliance is up to date with hygiene team
- Liaise with internal departments - Engineering, Production, Other Operational areas.

**Experience Required**:

- Strong experience within a team-based manufacturing/production environment, working with strict safety and quality control procedures and KPI’s.
- Experience of leading a hygiene team within a fast paced food manufacturing/production environment

**Qualifications**
- GCSE Level 4 or equivalent in Maths and English preferred.
- A Level/Higher grade pass in English and Maths preferred
- Qualification/Apprenticeship in a relevant field preferred
