Do you have experience in children’s residential care and a passion for making a difference? Join our team as a **Support Worker** and truly make a positive impact to the lives of up to three children at our large, nurturing home based in Reading, where we focus on **therapeutic care** and the **PACE model** (Playfulness, Acceptance, Curiosity, Empathy) to support positive outcomes for children and young people.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide high-quality, therapeutic care to children in line with the PACE model.
- Lead shifts, supervising and mentoring a team of support workers.
- Support the emotional and physical well-being of children, helping them achieve their potential.
- Contribute to care plans, risk assessments, and day-to-day management of the home.
- Ensure the home meets regulatory standards and follows safeguarding procedures.
**Requirements**:
- Experience in a children’s residential care setting.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of therapeutic practices and safeguarding policies.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
