**Lunchtime Assistant**
- The nursery is open 51 weeks per year, so this is **not** a term time position._
We are looking for a lunchtime assistant to work in our base rooms supporting the routine for children aged between 3months to 5 years. The position is for 15 or 16 hours per week worked Monday to Friday between the hours of 11.30am & 2.30pm. Additional ad hoc hours may be available.

Your role will involve:
- Support children with their toileting needs
- Providing social interaction at mealtimes
- Helping children to feed themselves
- Setting up the classroom to do an activity
- Cleaning the classroom and communal areas ready for the children
- Completing planned activities to support children learning
- Preparing resources
- Supervising children on local outings such as walks
- Keeping children safe and free from harm
- Safeguarding children
You do not need any qualifications, but must be reliable and enthusiastic and happy to work with children aged from 3 months to 5 years outdoors as well as indoors. You will need your own transport as the public transport network near to the nursery is limited.

- Caring and empathetic manner
- willingness to learn something new
- friendly and welcoming disposition
Desirable skills for Lunchtime Assistant:
- level 2 or above in early years education
- level 2 or above in English and Maths
- previous experience working in a Early Years Setting
**Job Type**: Part-time
**Salary**: £5,428.80-£7,550.40 per year
