Senior Support Worker

**Who you’ll be supporting & more about the role**:
We are looking for a dynamic and innovative ASW that will be able to provide a person-centred support. We are looking for a motivated individual who wants a rewarding role as part of a service that makes a difference. We require the ASW to work in accordance with the practice leadership model to ensure staff are guided and supported in day-to-day practice and allows teams to take shared responsibility for the quality of support. It is essential that the training is reinforced through practical hands on supported and mentored in practical situations.

**Experience**:

- Supporting individuals with complex Learning Disability/Autism/Forensic backgrounds (experience and expertise in this area is essential)
- Understanding of ISF’s and delivering person centred outcomes.
- Confidence and competence working within a Multi-disciplinary team setting as it is essential to ensure a successful working relationship.
- MDT work includes engagement with Clinicians, Occupational Therapists, Police, Nurses, Psychiatrists, Positive behavioural support etc.
- Partnership working with the local authority, commissioners/CCG/joint commissioning.
- Have high levels of resilience and a drive to overcome challenges
- Be prepared to work with people who present with some levels of challenging behaviour and in some cases risky behaviours
- Be committed to personal and professional development dependent on the needs of the service
