**To succeed as our new Assistant HR Manageryou will need**:

- Enthusiasm, motivation and be a team player
- 2-3 years of HR Administration or Advisory in a generalist environment
- At least 1 year’s recruitment experience
- Great communication skills and experience dealing with complex ER cases
- Good numeracy skills with accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office suite, HRIS and Talent Management Systems

**CIPD Level 5 qualification or studying towards is desirable as well as Payroll experience.**

**Main duties of our Assistant HR Manager**:

- Provide case management support and advice on employee relations issues such as performance management, capability, absence and disciplinary’s.
- Providing HR guidance and advice to line managers as appropriate.
- Provide support on various HR Projects including updating and developing HR related policies and procedures
- Develop and implement effective onboarding processes, using feedback to continuously improve the process. This includes helping run company inductions on a monthly basis or as needed.
- Manage the Occupational Health Provision and advise managers on appropriate actions.
- Coordinate Learning and development activities, work placement and apprenticeship processes
- Carry out exit interviews and inform the company of trends and how to respond to them
- Provide data and statistics as required.
- Support the HR Manager with issuing contracts and other HR related activities such as changes of contracts, processing salary changes and issuing leaver letters.
- To learn all aspects relating to payroll to enable full cover during absence.
