**PURPOSE OF THE ROLE**:

- With new and exciting client mandates, particularly in the energy space, our high performing team is looking for a 1 PQE + lawyer to join our expanding Transactional Real Estate practice in Glasgow.
- You will act for a number of FTSE 100 and local clients, supporting a variety of real estate work including landlord and tenant, asset management, acquisitions and disposals.
- We provide first-class, technical insight and training and are looking for an enthusiastic team member who wants to build their long-term career with us and become a well-rounded lawyer providing quality, commercial advice for our clients.

**THE TEAM**:

- The Real Estate Division is one of Addleshaw Goddard's largest, comprising a team in excess of 200. Within Scotland the Transactional Real Estate team is split between the Edinburgh and Glasgow Offices (the largest presence being in Edinburgh). The team currently comprises ten partners and over 30 other fee earners. The team's work is split approximately 50:50 between English and Scottish Real Estate transactions.
- The team places a high emphasis on their transactional expertise and bringing a commercial and business-oriented approach to a wide range of property matters.
- You will work as part of an established team, with a significant track record of internal promotion and career development. We are committed to supporting and providing progression opportunities at all levels across the Firm.

**What to expect in this role**:

- You will support a wide variety of work from commercial options and leases through to purchases and disposals, and with a specific proportion of your time with a focus on energy specific projects
- Management of large-scale projects involving the roll-out of leases or easements, utilising the latest legal technology and working closely with our Paralegal division and junior team members.
- Working closely with existing clients to maintain and develop relationships, acting as a trusted advisor capable of providing timely and quality advice whilst managing expectations.
- Working collaboratively as a cohesive team, to execute large-scale, high-value, client matters to the highest standard.

**your areas of knowledge and expertise**:
To be successful in this role, you will:

- Have at least 12 months + experience within commercial property and Real Estate matters, seeking a new energy focused challenge.
- Have enthusiasm, resilience and ambition to find solutions to clients' legal challenges and requirements.
- Be a confident stakeholder manager, with evidenced experience of engaging with internal and external stakeholders of all levels.
- Adopt a consultative and thorough approach to tasks.
- Maintain efficient diary and task management across a range matters, ensuring the accuracy and levels of client service expected within a high performing team.
- Be confident in drafting clear and legally effective
