Edinburgh, United Kingdom Children's Hospices Across Scotland Full time

We are looking for a highly skilled Executive Support Coordinator to provide high quality executive, administrative and corporate support to the Director of Income Generation and Engagement.

You will be providing support to our Director of Income Generation and Engagement whose remit includes our award-winning fundraising and communication teams. This department moves at pace and requires an individual who is skilled in balancing competing demands whilst providing a high quality and comprehensive administrative service in a busy and challenging environment. You will be supporting a Director who is visually impaired so will have additional access and will be required to provide bespoke support, including navigating systems that are otherwise inaccessible. Please note that our director has a guide dog (the Dude) who is an integral part of the Team.

You will join a high performing Executive Support team, where you will work alongside highly experienced and supportive peers and management providing executive support to the Senior Leadership Team.

This role will ideally be based in our Head Office in Edinburgh. The team are currently working on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days onsite. You should also expect travel to our other CHAS sites as required. We would consider another CHAS site as a base location.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will have skill and experience in the following areas:

- Experience in a similar role, such as Personal Assistant, Executive Assistant or Administrator
- The ability to operate flexibly and professionally in a fast-paced environment
- Comprehensive Executive Support and Administration experience, including strong MS Office skills
- Exceptional organisation skills with highly effective planning and prioritisation skills including skill in prioritising your own and others’ time and workload in order to manage the extensive demands associated with daily diary commitments.
- Great attention to detail and exemplary organisational, creative problem solving and decision-making skills.
- With excellent communication skills, you will be a team player with a positive, welcoming and can-do attitude.
- Experience of providing meeting support.
- Previous experience in the charity or healthcare sectors would be an advantage, as would experience of working with volunteers.

**Why CHAS**

In Scotland, three children a week die from a life-shortening condition. CHAS provides unwavering care for children who may die young, and their whole families. Our team of staff and volunteers work across two children’s hospices, in community settings across the country, and in hospitals alongside NHS staff. We are there for families every step of the way, supporting them in life, death and beyond. Our ambition is that no-one should face the death of their child alone.

Our Income Generation and Engagement Directorate will be crucial in achieving that ambition and have big and creative plans on how to do that. It is an exciting time to join our team, and this impactful role will directly contribute to the effectiveness of our leadership team.

We offer
- ** Flexible Working**: our team works flexibly and in a hybrid manner with time split between at home and onsite in Edinburgh, with travel to other sites as required. CHAS offers flexible and family friendly working and are happy to discuss working arrangements that work for you.
- ** Development Opportunities**: opportunity to engage in continuous structured internal and external learning.
- ** Professional Growth**: Work as part of a high-performing team where you will be encouraged and supported to excel and develop your skills.
- ** Comprehensive Benefits**: Including generous annual leave and pension, incremental salary progression, access to Blue Light discounts, and health and wellbeing support.

**Further Information and How to Apply**

Further information about the role and benefits of working for CHAS can be found in the attached documents.
