Financial Administrator - Shrewsbury
Avid Personnel are recruiting on behalf of their client an Independent Financial Advisors located in Shrewsbury.
Our client is looking to hire a Financial Administrator to provide support support to the Financial Advisors within the organisation.
You will be an important part of the team working within a busy office where organisation and working to deadlines is all within a day’s work, attention to detail to essential.
Our client deal with Pensions, Investments, Protection, IHT & Tax along with Retirement Planning.
As a Financial Administrator with our client you will:
- Liaising with clients and third parties both verbally and written
- Maintaining records and databases
- Preparing correspondence
- Generating Annual report packs including valuations and reports
- Producing Illustrations
- Adviser pipeline management
- Preparing advice/suitability reports using firm templates
- Ensuring compliances requirements are adhered too
- Fund Switches
- Ad-hoc administrative duties
The successful applicant will have the following skills:
- IT Skills including word processing, Excel & Outlook
- An interest in finances and/or investments (is always desirable)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Previous experience using Defaqto, FE analytics is desirable but not essential
- To pass probation there are a series of short compliance, money laundering and basic knowledge tests
- Technical knowledge may be validated from time to time through internal assessments
- Support, funding and incentives are available for industry examinations
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £21,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

- Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
