**OVERVIEW**:
The Tooling & Supply Chain Assistant works within the Supply Chain Department. The Assistant is responsible for ensuring all items of tooling are compliant with internal and external regulations, and procurement duties.

**KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assisting in the control and management of company tooling and ground equipment.
- Sourcing and purchasing tooling, aircraft parts and non-aircraft parts in accordance with company procedures.
- Managing loan tooling to ensure equipment is returned in a timely manner.
- Maintaining effective planning of tooling repairs and calibration.
- Make new tool kits in accordance with company procedures.

**KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Minimum GCSE (grade 4/C or above) in English and Maths.
- Proven experience within a busy purchasing, stores, or warehousing role.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and competent in using other IT systems.

**SKILLS, BEHAVIOURS & COMPETENCIES**:

- Communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation and externally.
- Possess good commercial and financial awareness.
- Have excellent organisational skills and demonstrate initiative in administration tasks.
- Be able to understand and analyse data.
- Have a professional and flexible approach to work within a busy team environment.
