Purchase Ledger Controller

A well-established construction company in the Carlisle are looking for an experienced Purchase Ledger Controller to join their continually growing team on a Full-time basis.
This a Full-time permanent position. Salary is £30,000 to £35,000 DOE.
Your new role as a Purchase Ledger Controller:
To complete bookkeeping and accountancy assignments for all companies within the business with specific focus on management of the supplier ledger including management of CIS processes and Supplier & Subcontractor payments.
Responsibilities Include:
Processing high volumes of invoices
Management of Subcontractor liabilities including creation of Subcontractor accounts ensuring compliance with Insurance, H&S and CIS
To assist in the preparation of the management accounts to ensure balance sheet is reconciled and accounts presented to the directors
To assist with any general accounts administration
Ad hoc Accounting assignments instructed by the Financial Controller
Calculation, Submission, Reconciliation of CIS Payments
Essential to have construction/CIS experience
Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise their own workload
Experience using Microsoft Office and Excel is essential
Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
Experience using Sage 50
