We’re currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operations Manager to head up our shared-user warehouse operations in Leicester. You’ll responsible for the operational and financial performance of the site.

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £45,000 per annum, a monthly car allowance and bonus. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Oversee the successful implementation of the contract and supporting functions, ensuring regular customer updates on progress and delivery
- Develop and identify KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives for the contract to ensure high productivity and return
- Lead regular health and safety and compliance meetings to ensure that all vehicles and equipment are in line with regulations and are safe to operate
- Build and develop an effective management team for long term success
- Manage the continued relationship between our customers and the Warehouse, including service level agreements
- Identify and facilitate process improvement projects in order to drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Actively manage your team, putting a huge focus on their on-going training and development
- Ensure that site policy and procedure is routinely reviewed and adhered to

**What you need to succeed at XPO**:

- Experience managing a Warehouse contract within a closed book environment or general haulage
- An effective understanding of budgets and P&L
- The ability to communicate effectively with all customers and stakeholders
- Previous experience working in a similar environment
- A desire to contribute to the on-going success of the site
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing large teams
