We are looking to hire the services of an accomplished and driven Sales Project Manager, to be responsible for the project management of all major sales projects within the UK and across our client's export markets. Our client are a world leader when itcomes to design and manufacture of their product range.

Based at their headquarters near Salisbury, you will be a leading light in the SMT, working with some incredibly long-standing customers ensuring all projects are carefully carved out and executed to perfection as well as developing the relationship so tobe on point when it comes to delivery on future projects together.

Your skills will enable you to review the company’s current products and processes, seek ways to improve effectiveness, reduce waste and efficiently use resources delighting the customer and maximising the sales potential.

**Primary role of the Project Manager will be to**:

- Be responsible for the project management of the major sales, projects, including the line management of a Project Co-ordinator and by drawing on the resources of others as required.
- Ensure the care of existing customers and development of new sales and customers by offering technical support
- Work within the sales team coordinating with the Technical, Design & Operations departments to achieve maximum sales & margins.
- Deal directly with customers on sales, technical, tender and specification issues.
- Ensure that all necessary actions and functions are carried out in a timely manner.
- Review the departments systems and procedures in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency and reduce waste.

**Essential skills to succeed in this role**:

- Mechanical engineering qualification/ bias or background
- 3-5 years + Project management experience - being able to manage projects of £250k - £5m
- Experience working on projects relating to: Construction, Architecture or Government contracts

Whilst the role is based at their headquarters their will be occasions whereby you will visit some of your client's at their site so a company car, laptop and phone are all provided from day one.
