A lovely family in Long Hanborough are looking for an experienced part time nanny to become a part of their family.

You will work part time for 15 - 25 hours a week for the family.

They have two girls (3 and 5 months). The eldest is in nursery and the baby stays at home. You will provide excellent childcare to both children, caring for them with love and attention.

You value child attachment and want to help raise secure children you will special bond with.

You are confident with newborns and know how to best support toddlers.

You are an excellent multitasker and thrive when taking care of two children alone.

You are fascinated by child development. You love discovering creative activities you can do at home or taking them outside to explore.

Language is important to you and you communicate well with the children.

You’re a safe and excellent driver and you make sure the children are in a safe environment at all times.

The father works in tech full time and splits his time between London and working at home. The mother is an entrepreneur, working part time in her home office. When not working, she takes care of one child while the nanny has sole charge of the other child. The children are used to this arrangement and it has always worked well.

**General duties**:

- Organise creative activities and educational games (e.g. painting, crafting and puppet games)
- Prepare children’s meals and feed them (including bottle-feeding, weaning, healthy lunch, snacks and dinner)
- Change diapers and bathe infants
- Help older children wash up and take baths
- Schedule nap times
- Teach children appropriate social behaviours, such as being respectful to each other and helping out with chores
- Transport children to and from classes and outdoor activities
- Tidy up play room, play areas and children’s rooms
- Ensure children’s safety during indoors and outdoors activities
- Take care of children in case of injury or illness
- Do children’s laundry
- Work with parents to ensure children’s growth and social development
**Requirements**:

- Previous experience with babies and toddlers as a Nanny
- Excellent understanding of child development in different age stages
- Ability to come up with creative ideas to educate and engage children
- Multitasking skills
- Good sense of humour with the children
- A pleasant and patient personality
- Availability to work Monday to Friday 10am - 5pm and occasionally in the evenings to help mother with children's bath and bed time
- A clean driving license
- DBS certificate or be willing to get a DBS check
- First aid certificate in the last 3 years
- Trained or educated in child development is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 15-20 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
