Comex 2000 is currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Multi Skilled Cable Operative to join our team in London.

We are looking for a Multi Skilled Cable Operatives to build and maintain new and existing Fibre Networks, specifically cable pulling, block cabling, splicing, and testing. The role involves carrying out effective works at internal & external locations in line with specifications, SLA’s & H&S ruling.

What will you be doing?_**

As a Multi Skilled Cable Operative, your core responsibilities will be
Test rodding and roping.
- Fibre cabling pulling.
- Fibre block cabling internal and external
- Splicing and testing in joints, lock boxes and POEs.
- Use of Fibre installation & test equipment
- Work safely according to National Roads and Street works Act, including Signing, Lighting and Guarding, Safe Working Practices, Personal Safety and Gas Testing
- Ensure all activities are carried out in line with Health and Safety standards, including carrying out daily checks to ensure safe to use
- Self-audit work to ensure it meets all company and client standards.
- Always maintain a clean and tidy work environment.
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
- Installation of equipment and materials as per industry and British standards
- Management inventory of and organisation of company Van.
- Ensure all work carried out is of a high quality and standard.
- To follow safe working, operating and compliance procedures
- To enter correct and detailed reports on our DEPONET mobile app system
- To work safely following all RAMS and correct use of provided PPE
- Ensuring your time is managed efficiently and tasks are prioritised correctly on site.
