**Teaching Assistant / Mentor (PRU) - Newhaven, East Sussex - Full-time - Start September**

Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our Bank team in the Newhaven area. The pupil community is diverse & spans KS3 & KS4. You will support schools in providing an opportunity for these young people to re-engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.

This is a role for those that have busy lifestyles or already work or study part-time & are looking for the odd day or to fill in the spare days.

**£72 per day minimum (£11.07 per hour)**

**Requirements**:

- Experience working with children & young people with behaviour management
- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one (we can help you to obtain one before your start date)
- Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
- Confident working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit
- Experience working with children & young people in Alternative Provision/Pupil Referral Unit (desired)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support class teacher
- Support the pupils
- Understand individual needs & adapt approach
