Pink Tile Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant for our client, a fantastic, forward-thinking & ambitious primary school in Newhaven. The pupil community is diverse & spans KS1 to KS2. You will support the team in providing an opportunity for these young people to engage and enjoy the core curriculum, as well as other activities.

£76 per day minimum (£11.68 per hour).

**Primary Teaching Assistant - Full-time - Start ASAP - Newhaven, East Sussex**

**Requirements**:

- Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain one
- Resilience
- Understanding of vulnerable young people & how to approach sensitive situations
- Able to adapt to the different needs of each student
- Confident working with children & young people in SEN/SEMH
- Experience working with children & young people (desired)
- Experience working with children & young people in SEN (desired)

**Responsibilities**:

- Support class teacher
- Support the pupils with their tasks/activities & wellbeing
- Understand individual needs of each student & adapt approach accordingly
