Are you an experienced Electrical/Electronic Engineer - Aviation/Aerospace looking for a new challenge?

This dynamic organisation seeks an Electrical/Electronic Engineer - Aviation/Aerospace to join their growing team based in Stanstead, Essex working at their leading independent overhaul and repair facility.

This position is to maintain the organisation's growth strategy by developing new capabilities and providing engineering solutions in a diverse and fast moving business environment, requiring a strong electrical & electronic bias and developed understandingof gaseous systems, working across the electrical, compressed gases and safety equipment business units.
- Undertake technical evaluation of electrical and electronic aircraft components and associated systems to deliver engineering solutions to the workshop
- Reverse engineering of electrical testing protocols and component assembly supporting New Product Development (NPD)
- Design and/or upgrade of electrical test equipment within budget capable of meeting component test specification parameters
- Lead and/or support New Product Development (NPD) projects to deliver on time to budget further electrical component capability for the business
- Proven relevant experience of building and designing test rigs
- Engineering degree - any related discipline (electrical / electronic highly desirable)
- Experience of investigating performance and quality issues using Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies; can anticipate problems before they arise.
