**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
- Communicate effectively with residents to understand their needs and preferences.
- Implement care plans as directed by healthcare professionals, ensuring all activities are documented accurately.
- Drive residents to appointments or social activities as required, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment during transport.
- Engage residents in meaningful conversations and activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the care home environment.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high-quality care is delivered consistently.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English are required to effectively interact with residents and colleagues.
- Basic IT skills are beneficial for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
- A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation of residents when necessary.
- A compassionate nature with the ability to empathise with the needs of others is crucial for success in this role.
