Temporary position for a period of 6 months

This vacancy is for 2 x 20hr positions to work in our Catering Street Food Van located at the main entrance of the hospital.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Facilities Services based at the Chesterfield Royal Hospital, working within our outdoor food van know as Go Global. The van provides a menu of 'street food' which is available to staff and visitors alike and is situated at Chesterfield Royal Hospital.

To provide an efficient and friendly catering service to a range of customers whilst ensuring queuing levels are kept to a minimum.

To be familiar with catering produce and merchandise so that relevant offers and deals can be suggested to customers.

To be responsible for accepting payment and giving change to customers by
operating a cash till.

To ensure the highest level of customer care is adhered to at all times.
Responsible for the security and cleanliness of all catering equipment and ensure hygiene compliance.

Responsible for accurately completing all relevant documentation to ensure HACAP procedures for temperature control on hot and cold food, ensuring Trust procedures for wastage and cleaning schedules are followed.
Report any breakages, defects, loss or malfunctions of any equipment immediately to the supervisor or manager.

To undertake any other duties as may be required in line with the general
responsibilities outlined in this job description. This may include occasional cover to other catering outlets.
