**The role**

As a Procurement Business Partner for IT/OT you will report directly into the Head of IT Procurement. This exciting new opportunity within the refreshed IT/OT Procurement team will give you the first hand opportunity to lead, mentor and develop a global team and contribute to innovative projects across all of RWE’s businesses including Renewables, Energy Trading and much more.

**Your future plans**

Acting as our “eyes and ears” on the ground you will be the IT Procurement go-to person for your assigned OpCos, build long lasting win-win relationships, fully understand your stakeholders requirements, and translate them to demand requirements and strategic initiatives to be executed by yourself, Category Management or Supplier Management.

Key responsibilities include:

- Establishing effective, trustful, deep relationships with all necessary OpCo stakeholders
- Be the first contact point for all procurement related topics which are not assigned to a specific Procurement team
- Be aware in detail and represent the OpCo in terms of business strategies, processes, activities and responsibilities towards Category Management and IT Supplier Management.
- Align IT’s and Procurements strategic initiatives
- Proactively brings supply market knowledge to business decisions
- Increasing value add
- Defining what value IT procurement can/should add for the assigned OpCos and initiates strategic initiatives that deliver against the defined value
- Represent Indirect Procurement towards OpCo, positioning Indirect Procurement as a process enabler, rather than a process blocker
- Set and deliver joint target agreements
- Demand Forecasting
- Maintenance of demand forecast and planning/ prioritization of procurement activities with all needed category teams plus supplier management.
- Be aware of the status of all activities and progress affecting your OpCos
- Supporting Cross Procurement Processes
- Together with IT Category Management and Supplier Management, provide and support alignment of segmentation and category strategies
- Ensuring automation and self-service capabilities are provided by Procurement to meet value targets

**Your profile**
- Relevant supply market and industry knowledge of relevant IT categories
- Procurement experience and an understanding of P2P processes
- Best in class Stakeholder Management and influencing skills, across all levels of hierarchy
- Highly creative, attentive to detail and able to be open to new approaches
- Persistant, with a drive to bring difficult topics to a close, thanks to your strong change and project management skills
- Willingness to travel to our operational/office sites and key suppliers
- Excellent proficiency in English; German language skills beneficial
