**JOB TITLE: Relief Security Officer**

**REPORTING TO: Security Supervisor**

**LOCATION: Thistles Shopping Centre, Stirling, FK8 2EA**

**CONTRACT: Permanent**

**HOURS: 36 hours per week**

**SHIFT PATTERN: Various dayshift**

**PAY RATE: £9.8 per hour**

**ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE**

We are looking to appoint a proactive Relief Security Officer with customer service at the forefront of all they do to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment for all our customers and staff. This is a permanent contract covering holidays with advanced notification of shifts. SIA licence required.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Enjoy working part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
- Good communication skills both written and verbal to assist with accurate report writing
- Excellent time management
- Smart, well-groomed and confident
- Conflict Management aware
- High level of customer care awareness
- Familiar with patrolling and monitoring from both a loss prevention aspect and health & safety
- SIA Door Supervisor/Security Guard licence

**Health & Safety Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily/weekly/monthly duties in line with the SIA licence training courses to ensure the centre is safe and compliant in all aspects of health & safety
- Confident in complying with health & safety and fire prevention procedures
- Take an active role in emergency situations including Fire Warden tasks
- Oversee external contractor management to ensure they are working safely
- Always follow ABM Group and company policies and procedures
- Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment
- Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received
- Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager and /or via your divisional incident reporting system
