An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Stirling area for a Security Officer Role, Located at a new location in Stirling.

**Job Summary**

**Main responsibilities**
- To supervise the Contract Security Personnel working on site and report any issues or matters to the Security Manager/Securigroup Management relating to the professional conduct & development of the team.
- Understand the roles of the Security Personnel and train newly appointed officers in their roles.
- To act as an initial point of contact for all daily operational security matters across the contract and escalate any incidents to the Security Manager/Securigroup Management where necessary.
- To ensure that the Incident Management Plan is followed, and all defined incidents are escalated as per instructed to WPS and the TFM Team
- Ensure compliance with all Policies and Procedures for M&G Plc & SecuriGroup.
- Motivate and develop the Security Staff in their respective roles.
- Ensure all security personnel are fully informed / briefed in relation to both the AI’s, SOP’s & the H&S documentation.
- Ensure, that all staff work in safe conditions, acting upon all reports of accidents and faults and, that staff carry out their duties in accordance with procedures and policies.
- To supervise on a day-to-day basis the access control of the building including, the production of replacement and new Access Control cards.
- Ensure Fire and Security systems installations are monitored, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and competent in their roles and carrying out their required duties.
- To ensure that your SIA Licences are on display at all times while at work
- Any additional reasonable duties requested by operational management

**Other duties and responsibilities**
- Work in accordance with:

- SecuriGroup policies, site procedures and training provided
- Customer policies
- Carry out any other reasonable request as required by your Line Manager or the Customer

**Required Skills and Experience**

**Essential**
- Deliver excellent customer service
- Basic IT Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- Have an ability to deliver succinct and clear verbal and written reports where necessary
- Maintain a high standard of personal presentation
- Demonstrate reliability including the ability to deliver high standards of both punctuality and attendance in order to ensure team effectiveness and availability
- Able to demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team.
- Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from the client and public.

An understanding of the principles of equality and diversity in relation to visitors’ needs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.90 per hour
