As a Barclays Securitized Products Whole Loan IBMO, your role is being created to address the continued growth and breadth of whole loan financing & trading product and transaction types that have been established as part of the core business strategy. You will liaise with the Trading Desk as well as third party mortgage originators & servicers to manage trade settlement process and life cycle events.

**Hybrid Working**
We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

**What will you be doing?**:

- Supporting life cycle events for Residential & Commercial Whole Loan financing & trading
- Performing start of day reconciliations and for unresolved items provide detailed commentary
- Monitoring all incoming feeds & files from external parties and escalating any delays
- Performing daily reviews of loan inventory between Barclays and external custodial vendors
- Overseeing our external servicer remittances which includes reconciling & reporting collections
- Actively ensuring fees, interest, and principal activity is collected and recorded

**What we’re looking for**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- Proven ability to influence others and work under pressure independently
- Broad knowledge of operational risks
- Broad knowledge of the front to back process in an environment of investment banking

**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Knowledge of Commercial and/or Residential whole loan financing or trading a plus
- Experienced with residential mortgage loan data attributes & mortgage collateral files
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Broad knowledge of Agency Market (FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA) origination and servicing a plus
