**ABOUT LUCID GROUP**

The Lucid Group is a multi-capability global healthcare communications company that partners with the pharma and biotech industry to deliver pioneering solutions that change behaviour, improve clinical practice and advance health outcomes. We are seeking an AI Consultant to support us in integrating artificial intelligence solutions that will drive both internal efficiencies and enhance the value of our client-facing services.

**THE ROLE**

As an AI Consultant with Lucid Group, you will play a pivotal role in rapidly transforming how we leverage artificial intelligence to support both our internal operations and our client services. This is an exciting and focussed hands-on project that will involve collaboration with key teams across the business, understanding their workflows, analysing options, and recommending AI solutions that will improve productivity and elevate the quality, efficiency, and/or cost of solutions we deliver to our clients.

The project is focused on two main objectives:

- **Internal Efficiency**: Identify and implement AI tools and processes that streamline agency workflows and drive operational efficiency across departments.
- **External Value**: Explore and recommend ways AI can enhance the value, quality, cost effectiveness, and strategic impact of our client-facing services, enabling us to deliver even greater results for clients, healthcare professionals, and patients.

While the creative department (video, imagery, etc.) has already made significant strides in AI adoption, your expertise will be focused on other areas of the business, with the potential to explore emerging opportunities in AI-driven innovation.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Opportunity Identification**: Work with Lucid Group leadership to review a potential list of AI opportunities. Understand and evaluate existing workflows across departments, identifying areas where AI could be integrated for maximum impact.
- **Business Understanding**: Spend time with cross-functional teams to understand agency operations and challenges, with a particular focus on teams that align with the identified opportunities.
- **Develop Recommendations**: Present a set of costed recommendations, including resource requirements, for AI implementation to the Executive and Board. Provide clear business cases for each recommended solution.
- **Upskill Teams**: Provide guidance and training to internal teams to enable the smooth adoption of AI tools. Assist in troubleshooting and refining AI-driven processes as required.
- **Support Implementation**: Develop and support delivery of a robust implementation plan, including training trainers, monitoring workflow adjustments, and ensuring a smooth transition to embedded services.

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**
- **Agency Experience**: You have a strong understanding of agency processes, particularly in creative services and client-facing teams. You know how typical agency tasks and workflows function, and you’re able to pinpoint where AI can streamline operations and improve output.
- **AI Expertise**: You have a deep understanding of the AI landscape, including platforms like Copilot, OpenAI, and other large language models. You’re familiar with a range of AI tools already in use across industries and understand how they can be applied to communications agencies to gain a competitive edge.
- **Consultancy Background**: You may come from a large consultancy background (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte) where you’ve led similar transformation projects, helping clients evolve workflows and adopt AI technologies.
- **Life Sciences or Regulated Industry Experience (preferred)**: Experience in the life sciences sector is highly desirable, but if you don’t have that, experience working in other highly regulated sectors (e.g., financial services, pharmaceuticals, etc.) would also be beneficial.
- **Pragmatic & Hands-On**: You’re not just a strategic thinker but also enjoy getting into the weeds and working directly with teams to implement solutions. You’re comfortable managing both high-level strategy and day-to-day execution.
- **Communicator**: Outstanding communication, planning and organisational skills
- If you look at this list and feel you don’t meet every single requirement, we still want to hear from you We encourage you to apply, have a discussion with us about the role or others that we may have at Lucid Group either now or in the future, together we can build more inclusive workplaces._

**WHAT'S NEXT?**

During our interview process you will typically have a Teams call with the manager for the role and other key stakeholders that focuses on your experience, getting to know each other and talking through the role and expectations in more detail.

We then hope to get back to you with an outcome within a few days of your interview
